Over the past three years, American Cancer Society Pan Ohio Hope Ride participants Martin Flanagan and Brian Bortz face off every June in their  #CANvsUSAPOHR challenge. They each track miles and minutes on the bike and the winner earns a donation from all who have donated It has been a great back and forth competition at times.

This year, we are asking that you pledge a set amount per mile with all donations going to the winner’s Pan Ohio Hope Ride fundraising campaign. Even if you have already donated, please consider a small pledge as they all add up and will motivate to ride more (and will help a great cause!). The minimum pledge is 1 cent per mile. The winner is determined on a point basis calculated as number of miles ridden in a month plus number of minutes ridden in a month.

We will be posting ride routes, pictures, and other information so that you can follow the challenge. There will be some mudslinging, challenges and a lot of fun. Martin and Brian will both be putting in some big days in the saddle. Brian and Martin.jpgAt the end, the winner will post their link for donations. If you prefer to use Facebook, the link is here: Our Facebook page

You’ll find more information on the ride, where the money goes and how it benefits cancer patients at the Ohio Hope Lodges at the following link: Pan Ohio Hope Ride

If you haven’t yet donated towards the ride and would like to make a contribution, you can do that via Martin or Brian’s fundraising campaigns. Those links are found here: Martin Flanagan vs Brian Bortz. We both thank you in advance.

Please enter your pledge in a comment to this post so that we can keep track. If you prefer to remain anonymous, please message us on this page. Thank you for your support!
